Recorded at London's Barbican Hall in July 1996, this video features the 14th Dalai Lama teaching the Four Noble Truths of Buddhism. This historic event marked the first time the Dalai Lama had presented a forum on Buddhism to the Western world -- and outside of Asia. The wit, wisdom, scholarship and compassion of the current Dalai Lama are much in evidence in this series of lectures on attaining spiritual enlightenment.
